About Us

Machinery Services has a rich history of improving and creating new automation processes and machinery in various industries both in New Zealand and around the globe. These developments have been implemented in meat, perfume and soap industries, amongst others.

In more recent years we became involved in developing solutions within the structural steel industry, however, on moving to new premises at the the top of New Zealand's South Island it became apparent to us that the modern flourishing vineyards in the Marlborough region had unmet needs. We recognised a need in the industry for a machine that would automate and mechanise the labour-intensive process of pruning.

Labour shortages, injuries and costs to vineyards all provided excellent impetus to the development of a machine that would improve the efficiency of the local viticulture industry.

It is by these means that the Langlois Vine Stripper was developed.
